e-102 Gamma

 

E-102 Gamma, also known more scientifically as E-102-Y,  is a battle robot created by Dr. Eggman, but later gained his own sentience when he learned of friendship from Amy Rose and turned on his creator. He then assumed his own mission to 'free' his robot brethren from Eggman, and succeeded, though at the cost of his own life.

E-102 Gamma is a robotic life form created by Dr. Eggman. As such, its name can refer to many characters in the Sonic universe. Nearly all E-100 models are identical in design, par slight modifications such as expanded weaponry. While they vary in rank, E-100's are considered a profound model by Eggman, and thus usually have a close role with their master, (somewhat replacing the traitorous Metal Sonic as a right-hand minion or personal muscle). Because of their form and origin, however, nearly all E-100s played a tragic role after thier very first mission.

Eggman also installed Gamma with the ability to accept Level Up Items into his system. The Level Up Item Laser Blaster upgraded Gamma's weapon and allowed him to lock-on to an increased number of enemies and deal extensive damage. The Jet Booster permitted Gamma the ability to hover for some time and cross longer distances in the air.

Although Gamma was severly damaged and his robotic body was destroyed, eventually, his spirit, within a bird form, found it again and went back into the body. This then caused him to act like a wiser and older brother to Omega, who was still a little too much like a hothead by trying to destroy Eggman. Gamma then left with Omega and the others to Arendelle and introduced themselves to Anna. After the earthquake struck, Omega was ready to go and destroy Eggman, because he thought this was his plan, but Gamma had to hold him back from it. So they all stayed and helped Tails upgrade the Tornado. After about an hour, Gamma was ready to get some target practice in, and he and Omega went outside to do some shooting. When they saw that Sonic was dead after some time the next day, they immediately got their weapons loaded and took flight with Tails and the rest of the group. Once they defeated the Master only once, he came back and knocked everyone out. Gamma and Omega's bodies were severley damaged, yet they used their automatic repair systems. The Power Rangers (Sonic, Amy, Knuckles, Shadow, and Blaze) then tured into their Legend Warrior modes and defeated the Master for good. Eggman then decided to turn over a new leaf as well as Metal Sonic, and then Omega, Gamma, and the doctor quickly put the past behind them. They all returned to Arendelle and lived happily ever after. Gamma and Omega quickly became part of Elsa's international security organization I.C.E. along with Shadow and Rouge. This then helped them get everything all set up for many adventures to follow.
