Dr. Ivo Robotnik (Dr. Eggman)

 

Dr. Ivo Robotnik, also known as Dr. Eggman, is a human and has a love-hate relationship with his arch-nemesis, Sonic the Hedgehog. The large scientist with an IQ of 300 dreams of dominating the world, but his constant plots to create his Eggman Empire are always thwarted by Sonic and his friends.

While the doctor's plans initially consisted of building up incredible armies by turning animals into robots and using them to dominate the land, Dr. Eggman's schemes have since branched into much more global threats as he built war machines, used nuclear devices to threaten entire nations, and even relied on mythological and ancient deities bent on destruction to achieve his goals. Eventually, the mad scientist has gone as far as to target the entire universe and cooked up schemes to control time and space itself.

While all these plans end in failure thanks to the continued efforts of Sonic and his friends, the mad doctor somehow is always able to slip away from certain death or imprisonment and escape at the last moment, making him a constant threat to the universe and a thorn in Sonic's side.

Julian Kintobor was once an ordinary scientist who helped the King and Queen of Arendelle, the mother and father of Elsa and Anna, just wanted more. He eventually wanted to be a Green Lantern, but they both saw darkness in his heart and refused. Outrage, Kintobor tried to lay waste to the city, renaming himself Ivo Robotnik, but others still called him Eggman because of how he looked. He tried to take a Green Lantern's power ring by force, and the King had to fire what he had created. He banished him to a different world and he stayed ther in a prison for more than 20 years, waiting for its chance at revenge.

That chance came at Sonic's sixteenth birthday. After Anna had gotten the Green Lantern power ring because she was said to be the chosen one of another old prophecy about becoming a Green Lantern, Eggman was freed from prison and escaped with an army of killer robots, including Metal Sonic, who he had developed when he was still working for the King and Queen. He then attacked Arendelle and killed Orion in the process. Then he left Arendelle with Sonic, Anna, and Elsa hot on his trail. He continued to attack, and tried to get the best of Knuckles, which succeeded at first, but after Sonic had battled him, he was unable to change the Echidna's mind.

Finally, when Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles attacked him on a bridge, Eggman froze them with an icy blast, defeated Elsa with using a strike of blue fire, and defeated Anna by almost crushing her on the ground, but took the youngest of the sisters to his base, where he hypnotized her into using a Yellow Lantern power ring (yellow being the color of cowardice to a Green Lantern). She then used it against Sonic, but when he sang a lullaby to her, the spell broke, and her Yellow Lantern power ring turned back to a Green Lantern power ring, because, as she would say later on, once a Green Lantern, always a Green Lantern. Then they fought Eggman and destroyed his Custom Gear and Metal Sonic was defeated again. Anna then used the rest of her power as a Green Lantern to defeat Eggman, releasing enough energy to knock the Doctor out.

Then he and Metal Sonic continued to fight off Sonic and his friends that continued to appear, including Amy Rose and Cream the Rabbit. They were all defeated, and so he went to Arendelle and set up shop inside the North Mountain, and once the earthquake struck, he decided to help the Master, Lord Shen. All of his robots, however, went bezerk because they were all connected to a network of evil, and served the Master. Metal Sonic was upgraded later on, and Eggman was able to pilot him when the Master had gone into his final mode, Lyric the Last Ancient. But after being defated by Sonic, Shadow, Amy, Knuckles, and Blaze, he and Metal Sonic decided to turn over a new leaf for real. Queen Elsa still has her doubts, but she still knows that he will always try to do his best to be good.
