Anna
Anna, the princess of Arendelle, is more daring than graceful and, at times, can act before she thinks. But she's also the most optimistic and caring person you'll ever meet. She longs to reconnect with her sister Elsa, as they were close during their childhood. When Elsa accidentally unleashes a magical secret that locks the kingdom of Arendelle in an eternal winter, Anna embarks on a dangerous adventure to make things right. Armed with only her fearlessness, a never-give-up attitude and her faith in others, Anna is determined to save both her kingdom and her family, even if Sonic is not around to go speedy and help secure her and Elsa.
Unlike her older sister Elsa, Anna is very eccentric, optimistic, energetic, awkward, and far from elegant. She usually acts before she speaks and can be rather impulsive, but holds a lot of innocence to her, nonetheless. She is free-spirited, bent on spending her life outside the castle gates after years of being enclosed within them for the safety of the kingdom due to Elsa's ice powers. Anna is also a pure and hopeless romantic, dreaming of romance the moment the gates are finally opened for Elsa's coronation ceremony. There can also be a little naivety to her, as she believes in marrying someone immediately if the heart tells you so, despite knowing them for merely a day. And though naïve occasionally, Anna is far from weak and is shown to be quite skilled in self-defense, as seen when she and Kristoff survived being attacked by the wolves and the fearsome Marshmallow.
At a very young age, Anna and Elsa played together usually in the empty ballroom until Elsa accidently struck her one day and, to keep her power under control, Anna was shut out to prevent any danger. As time went on, Anna and Sonic together enjoyed playing around the house and singing together. After their parent's deaths, the younger sister felt very insecure.
Three years later, Anna was desperate to go and take the chance to find true love. At the time, she didn't know about love's real meaning. She then ran into Prince Hans and they talked about marrying that same day. When she went to talk to Elsa about asking to bless the marriage, but she refused and Sonic agreed with her. Just as they were leaving the ballroom, she grabbed Sonic's wig and Elsa's glove and started to get into a verbal brawl with Sonic. When Elsa unleased her magical secret and Sonic his, she was determined to get things back on the norm.
On her journey through the snow, she ran into Oaken, the owner of Wander Oaken's Trading Post and Sauna, where she bought her winter boots and dress. She then met Kristoff and his reindeer Sven. They then traveled up to the North Mountain and, after meeting Olaf, who showed them the way to the ice palace, as soon as Sonic saw her, caught him and they hugged each other as if they had not seen each other in years. She then tried to convince Elsa to go with her back to Arendelle, but she was struck in the heart by accident. Sonic had to jump in the way to try to save her, but it was too late. As soon as he geared up, Anna was driven out of the castle by Marshmallow at swordsedge. She and Kristoff then left to find a cure to this frozen heart, and hearing that only an act of true love could thaw it, the four friends then left to go kiss Hans. Of course, no one except for Sonic knew that Hans was actually Erazor Djinn. He betrayed Anna and she tried to stop him. She succeeded by saving Elsa from certain death when she froze as soon as she stood in the way of his sword blade. After Sonic defeated him, she thawed and was brought back to life. She and Sonic then had lots of fun together, and, for Sonic, the first time in forever he was able to have fun with Elsa.
When Anna turned 19 years old, Dr. Robotnik came in and tried to take over Arendelle, but Sonic came to the rescue to save her and Elsa. She then left Kristoff in charge of Arendelle and went with Elsa and Sonic to defeat Robotnik. She and Elsa soon learned that Sonic liked to call him Eggman because of his stature and that it always made him mad, so the name just stuck. They then got into some trouble trying to get to Eggman's base to defeat him. The trio then succeeded with the help of Tails and Knuckles. Sonic then stayed in the world of Mobius, and Anna and Elsa left him, thinking that they would never see him again.
Five years later, Anna was able to see Sonic again, and she was able to be introduced to Shadow, Rouge, Omega, Gamma, Cream, Amy, Cheese, Chocola, Silver, Blaze, Espio, Vector, Charmy, and Sticks. After the earthquake occurred, she wanted to go and save Elsa, who was captured again, but she had to stay in order to rule over Arendelle when Elsa was gone. When Elsa was back with her, the two started to worry when Sonic, Blaze, Amy, Silver, Shadow, Knuckles, Cosmo, and Nack had to go and save the world from the Master. They did not have to worry for much longer because one day after the adventure began, Sonic came back in one piece, and he told them and Kristoff that he was, in reality, their brother and Cosmo and Nack's son. He also was Kristoff's nephew, he told them. Together, they all lived in harmony afterwards.
